Elaine Petrossian is Assistant Dean for Career Strategy & Advancement at Villanova University School of Law. A licensed attorney, Elaine earned her JD and BA from the University of Virginia. She also holds an MS in Community Counseling from Villanova University and is working toward licensure. Before joining Villanova Law, Elaine practiced law at Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP and Reed Smith LLP, and interned at the City of Philadelphia Law Department. Elaine is active in the National Association for Legal Career Professionals (NALP), most recently having chaired the Leadership Taskforce and serving as a Vice Chair of the Annual Conference Planning Committee. Elaine also has assisted in fundraising campaigns for Women’s Way and the Wayne United Methodist Church. She has served the University of Virginia as a member of the Jefferson Scholars Regional Selection Committee and the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter Board. At UVA, Elaine was a trainer and volunteer for “Open House Hotline,” a regional crisis hotline for the greater Charlottesville-Albemarle community. Elaine has personal experience and insight into issues facing seniors through her experience as agent/power of attorney for her aging parents in Virginia.
