Heather Hines, Esq.

Staff Attorney

Heather Hines joined the staff of SeniorLaw Center in June, 2018 as a Staff Attorney providing emergency legal services to senior victims of financial exploitation and various forms of abuse. Heather is part of the SeniorLAW Center’s Victims Services team, which is funded by a federal grant pursuant to the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA). Heather provides direct services to senior victims of financial abuse to ensure that the exploitation is stopped and advocates for victims in civil court to recover stolen funds and property when possible. Heather will be working with local community leaders and other legal and victim service organizations to assist seniors in Bucks County. Heather will provide trainings, attend community outreaches and advocate for Bucks County seniors.
Prior to joining SeniorLAW Center, Heather was Assistant District Attorney in the Trials Division of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, where she served a member of the Narcotics Unit and the Community Prosecution Unit focusing on all crimes committed in Pottstown, Montgomery County. During her tenure in the District Attorney’s Office, Heather investigated and prosecuted all types of criminal cases, including cases of abuse, neglect, rape, narcotics trafficking, theft and fraud-related crimes and homicides.
Heather graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Connecticut State University in 2006 and with pro bono distinction from Widener School of Law in 2009.
