2010 Stimulus Grant Awarded to SeniorLAW Center to Serve Older Women Victims, in partnership with CARIE

SeniorLAW Center has been awarded a federal stimulus grant to expand services to older women who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.  In partnership with CARIE, the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly, this grant will enable SeniorLAW Center to create a multi-disciplinary Senior Domestic Violence Team and partner with domestic violence, sexual assault, protective services and other providers; expand holistic services to older victims of violence, including services through two state-wide helplines; and provide education, outreach and training to law enforcement, the courts, healthcare and allied professionals and the general public about domestic violence/sexual assault and older women.  For more information about Reaching Underserved Older Women Victims, Click Here.
