Did you have a bad voting surprise?

The City Commissioners, who run Philadelphia’s elections, said that they would look into the matter of voters who believed they were registered to vote, but were forced to vote by provisional ballot because their names were not in the poll books, and make the report public.

You can help the Commissioners find out what happened.

If you voted provisionally because your name was not in the poll books – or you can forward this to people who might know of anyone who experienced this – please email futureofthecity@seventy.org.The names of provisional voters (they will also need the location of their polling places) will be passed to the City Commissioners right away.

In the meantime, the non-partisan Committee of Seventy will continue to help voters have the best possible experience at the polls.
