Due to overwhelming demand for our services, SeniorLAW Center intake and the Pennsylvania SeniorLAW HelpLine will be temporarily closed for all but emergency matters during the week of August 31, 2015, reopening after Labor Day on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
Emergency telephone and walk-in intake for Philadelphia seniors will remain open for those with the following emergencies only:
- protections from abuse and domestic violence
- immediate loss of primary home
- recent frozen bank accounts or unauthorized withdrawal of money from a bank account
- a court date within the next 48 hours
- utility shutoffs.
Walk-in intake for these emergencies only will be available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Suite 1501, 1500 JFK Boulevard, Two Penn Center, Philadelphia, PA 19102, 215-988-1244. Walk-intake for protections from abuse and domestic violence matters is available during all business hours at the same address.
