SeniorLAW Center

Janine Dunlap Kiah, Esq.

Project Director, Pursuing Justice for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren in Pennsylvania

Janine joined SeniorLAW Center in 2019 as a project director. In this role, she manages a federally funded state-wide initiative to increase access to legal services for grandparents seeking custody of their grandchildren. She is excited to head this campaign to develop a state-wide network of community partners and pro bono attorneys to represent seniors for this very important and increasingly urgent issue. Further, Janine will directly represent seniors in their custody matters and train attorneys on how to handle these unique cases.

Prior to joining the SeniorLAW Center, Janine practiced family law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for over a decade. However, her passion to help those who are the most vulnerable among us, often our elderly population, lead her to serve in her current role. She is a longtime supporter of public interest initiatives and has been a provider of pro bono legal services through her own law practice and as partnered with local nonprofits. She is thrilled to offer her experience and talents in relationship building, litigation, and advocacy to the SeniorLAW Center. Janine serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Nicholas A. Cipriani Family Law American Inns of Court; A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; and a Ruling Elder and Music Ministry Leader at Arch Street Presbyterian Church. Janine is a graduate Villanova University Law School and Westminster Choir College of Rider University.
