In response to the Governor’s directive, all of SeniorLAW Center's physical offices are closed, but we continue to provide services to our older clients and communities who are disproportionately impacted by this crisis.

All staff are working and accessible remotely. Those needing our services should contact us by phone at:

Please see resources on our website with more information for older adults in these uncertain times. Join us in making extra efforts to ensure the older people in our lives are safe, healthy and connected.

MAKE A CONTRIBUTION to SeniorLAW Center Today!
Elder financial exploitation is now a multi-billion dollar crisis in our nation. But with 10,000 Americans turning 65 each day, making sure Pennsylvania seniors age with dignity, can age in their own homes, and are safe from violence and abuse is our top priority. Victims of elder abuse and exploitation are three times more likely to die prematurely. 1 in 10 older women suffers from physical, sexual or verbal abuse by an intimate partner.

Since 1978, SeniorLAW Center has protected the rights and interests of hundreds of thousands of the most vulnerable seniors, including senior veterans, grandparents raising abused and neglected grandchildren, elderly tenants facing eviction and homelessness, and victims of elder abuse and exploitation. Every year, more than 8,000 seniors are helped by providing legal representation, counsel, referral and information services and community education, many living on under $700 a month.

Our work saves lives. And we’re a good investment; for every dollar spent on legal aid, there is an $11 return to Pennsylvania and its residents. By supporting SeniorLAW Center, you help us fight senior poverty and injustice. Only 1 in 5 low-income Pennsylvanians having a critical legal problem receives legal help from any source, leaving most to navigate the legal system alone. Help us change this to serve the thousands of elders who need us.
