Front Street\, Media\, PA 19063) from 10am – 12pm to learn about resources to address and prevent elder abuse in our community. \nFeaturing free continental breakfast and snacks\, a resource fair\, and remarks from: \n\nKaren C. Buck\, Esq.\, SeniorLAW Center\nPA Representative Lisa A. Borowski\nDavid Shallcross\, Esq.\, PA Office of Attorney General\nKalli Badolato\, Esq.\, Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County (DAP)\nMaya Palmer\, County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA)\n\nThis event is free and open to the public. World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is observed globally each year on June 15th. The purpose of WEAAD is to provide an opportunity for communities around the world to promote a better understanding of abuse and neglect of older persons by raising awareness of the cultural\, social\, economic and demographic processes affecting elder abuse and neglect.
