SeniorLAW Center proudly serves those who served our country and offers special services to senior veterans 60 and older in a variety of civil legal matters.

While the Department of Veterans Affairs and Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs offer a variety of programs and services for veterans, neither include victim services or legal advocacy and assistance for veterans. This project serves two underserved populations in Pennsylvania: older people and veterans. We offer enhanced services through a partnership with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency for veterans who were affected by economic or other crimes. We collaborate with veterans groups, leaders, legal and nonprofit partners and others to address the needs of senior veterans as holistically as possible. We have worked alongside veterans to hat they can inform our work, approach and services.  Our Senior Veterans Corps, a group of men and women who served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and stateside, has advised us and served as ambassadors for SeniorLAW Center. We value the voices of veterans in our work.

HOW WE HELP:

We serve veterans age 60 and older with legal advice, representation and advocacy in areas of civil law, and work closely with other partners to refer veterans to holistic services. We welcome and honor veterans, and have veterans who serve on our staff and board of directors.
