World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Symposium

SeniorLAW Center will host a symposium for Delaware county older adults in honor of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD). WEAAD is observed globally each year on June 15th. The purpose of WEAAD is to provide an opportunity for communities around the world to promote a better understanding of abuse and neglect of older persons by raising awareness of the cultural, social, economic and demographic processes affecting elder abuse and neglect.
Join us on Thursday, June 12th at the Delaware County Bar Association, 335 W. Front Street, Media, PA 19063, from 10am – 12pm to learn about resources to address and prevent elder abuse in our community at the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) Symposium.
Featuring free continental breakfast and boxed lunches, a resource fair, and remarks from:

- Domestic Abuse Project of Delco
- County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA)
