The annual fundraiser and celebration to benefit SeniorLAW Center and its work to change the lives of Pennsylvania’s seniors, will be held April 1st, 2011, to raise awareness of the many challenging issues facing older Pennsylvanians. The 2011 event is proudly co-hosted by: William Donohue, Esq. and Margie Donohue, Judge Katherine Streeter-Lewis (Ret.) and Michael Lewis, MSW, and Karen McRory-Negrin, Esq. and Richard Negrin, Esq.
Bill Donohue is Associate General Counsel for Exelon Corporation, the parent company of PECO Energy Company. He is a past Chair and Board member of SeniorLAW, and an active volunteer attorney. He has also served on the Board of the Delaware Valley Corporate Counsel Association (DELVACCA), as Chair of its Pro Bono Committee and was the recipient of its 2001 Pro Bono Award. Margie Donohue is active as a volunteer for numerous non-profit organizations, most notably as a member of the Immaculata University Alumni Board of Trustees.
Honorable Kathryn Streeter Lewis (Ret.) and Michael J. Lewis, MSW are life long residents of Philadelphia and have dedicated their careers to public service. Judge Lewis served for 20 years as a judge of the Court of Common Pleas and Michael Lewis has worked in behavioral health services for more than 30 years and currently serves as an administrator with CATCH, Inc. Having been blessed to care for their parents, now in their eighties, motivates them to work with others to promote the needs of seniors in our community.
Karen McRory-Negrin, Esq., a former Child and Elder Abuse Prosecutor, is the President of the Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy PA Chapter and a former board member of SeniorLAW Center. Richard Negrin, Esq. is the Deputy Mayor of Administration & Coordination and Managing Director of the City of Philadelphia. Prior to joining the City of Philadelphia, Mr. Negrin held positions as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of ARAMARK Corporation, as a litigator with the law firm of Morgan Lewis, and as a prosecutor in the Major Trials Unit of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.
