Carl W. Bailey

Board Member

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE?

Retired President and CEO of CWB Consulting Services, with thirty-five years of experience working to set up small businesses, giving workshops in business planning, marketing, finance, and problem solving.

WHY ARE YOU INVOLVED WITH SENIORLAW CENTER?

As a volunteer advocate for Concerned Citizens of Pennsylvania and as a member of the SeniorLAW Center Board I have an opportunity to work with the SeniorLAW Center for services to seniors.

HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR BOARD MEMBERSHIP / LEADERSHIP?

A highlight of my SeniorLAW Center Board membership has been the work they have done advocating for veterans.

WHY DO YOU THINK OTHERS SHOULD SUPPORT SENIORLAW CENTER?

Because without organizations like the SeniorLAW Center providing services for seniors who need help and who are being abused or taken advantage of, they would not have someone representing them in the community.

OTHER LEADERSHIP POSITIONS AND WAYS YOU GIVE BACK?

Appointed by Governor Corbett in 2014 to serve on the Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Commission, and appointed by Governor Wolf in 2016 to serve on the Pennsylvania Advisory Commission on African American Affairs. Serve on the Board of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network. Active in various civic and state organizations including the AARP Executive Council, the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Advisory Committee, the Long Term Care Delivery System Subcommittee, and the Long Term Care Quality Council Stakeholder Committee. Serve on the Pennsylvania Council on Aging and the Board Advisory Council of the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. Participate in veteran programs in the community. Captain in the Third Regiment Infantry, N.G.P. Veteran Guard, 3rd Vice Commander United Veterans Council, Lifetime Member of VFW Post 20, and VFW All State Post Commander 2006-2007.
