WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE?
I am a bankruptcy litigator, and a partner in Duane Morris’s Philadelphia office. I represent insurance companies, secured creditors, chapter 11 debtors-in-possession, chapter 11 trustees, chapter 7 trustees, liquidating trustees and creditors’ committees in all aspects of a bankruptcy case, including large chapter 11 cases.
WHY ARE YOU INVOLVED WITH SENIORLAW CENTER?
I am eager to serve older people in the Philadelphia area to help strengthen and support at-risk communities through the SeniorLAW Center’s mission of legal representation, education, and advocacy. The work of the SeniorLAW Center benefits not just older people, but everyone in the community, and I’m proud to be involved in such important work.
WHY DO YOU THINK OTHERS SHOULD SUPPORT SENIORLAW CENTER?
Secure neighborhoods for older people are secure neighborhoods for everyone. The SeniorLAW Center’s mission focuses on justice for all, which is critically important at this time in our history.
OTHER LEADERSHIP POSITIONS AND WAYS YOU GIVE BACK?
I was a volunteer for Compass for the 2018-2019 cycle providing pro bono consulting services to a Philadelphia non-profit on the subject of board development. I routinely engage in legal pro bono matters, primarily representing women in complex immigration and asylum cases.
