WHAT DO YOU DO AT SENIORLAW CENTER?

I provide client-centered, holistic legal services to older adults in our community who have been disproportionately impacted by injustice.Being a part of the helpline team, I connect with callers to provide legal services in a way that affirms their dignity, autonomy, and inherent goodness

WHY DO YOU WORK AT SENIORLAW CENTER?

I am so excited to work for an organization committed to turning the tide towards humanity and justice for all. The SeniorLAW Center has been at the forefront of developing innovative programs and leading the charge on access to justice for older Philadelphians and Pennsylvanians. Through my work at the SeniorLAW Center I honor the wisdom of our community’s elders and work to ensure that they have access to the justice they deserve.

HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR WORK AT SENIORLAW CENTER?

In every interaction at the SeniorLAW Center I am reminded of the hard work and sacrifice of my grandmother and how so many of our community’s elders have paved the way for the opportunities we are all presently afforded.

BEFORE SENIORLAW CENTER

I had the privilege of providing legal services to domestic violence survivors via a statewide legal helpline. Before that I represented our city’s unhoused residents at the Homeless Advocacy Project. Prior to law school, I worked as an emergency assistance case manager supporting women and children impacted by housing insecurity, trauma, domestic violence, substance use, and HIV.
