WHY ARE YOU INVOLVED WITH SENIORLAW CENTER?

SeniorLAW Center is a critical organization that focuses access to justice solely on the most invisible of constituents in this society – those that are old, poor and oftentimes frail. Older people carry an increasingly difficult burden today, and they need specialized help and assurance that someone cares and is in a position to help.

HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR BOARD MEMBERSHIP / LEADERSHIP?

I was a Board Member for five years previous to this appointment and served as VP of the organization for several years. I had the distinct honor of receiving the Hall of Fame award in 2015.

OTHER WAYS YOU SERVE AS A VOLUNTEER FOR SLC?

Over the years, I assisted in setting up life planning clinics in the organizations I worked, and other special projects.

WHY DO YOU THINK OTHERS SHOULD SUPPORT SENIORLAW CENTER?

SeniorLAW Center meets older people where they are so that they have the best chance of getting the assistance that they need. Clients are engaged in the community, through help lines, walk ins, and in housing or family court when they are most in need.
