SeniorLAW Center

Madeline Jarvis

Administrative Coordinator of Intake, Education, & Pro Bono

WHAT DO YOU DO AT SENIORLAW CENTER?

Support seniors and older adults seeking information, services, and support from the SeniorLAW Center HelpLine.

WHY DO YOU WORK AT SENIORLAW CENTER?

SeniorLAW Center advocates for the justice, respect, and dignity of older adults in our communities. All too often, older adults and seniors are overlooked and their contributions unappreciated. I am thrilled to be part of an organization dedicated to serving this diverse population.

HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR WORK AT SENIORLAW CENTER?

I just started, but am eager to eventually support coordinating outreach and community clinics in addition to my work with the HelpLine!

BEFORE SENIORLAW CENTER

I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2013-2014 at a food bank and helpline in North Seattle, which began my professional journey. Since that time I have held a number of mission-driven roles in nonprofit spaces, from development and communications to project management. I am most passionate about community outreach and social justice, and I bring a trauma-informed lens to my work.
