Inspiring Evening in Media Celebrating SeniorLAW Center’s Newly Expanded Victim Services Office

On Thursday, November 30th, SeniorLAW Center celebrated our newly expanded county office in Media, PA with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. We were pleased to host this inspiring evening filled with partners, judges, legislative staff, aging and domestic violence leaders, attorneys, and SeniorLAW Center Board leaders and members of staff. Throughout the entire event, community partners and leaders spoke with SeniorLAW Center staff to learn more about our mission and forge new relationships grounded in our shared commitment to serve older Pennsylvanians.

This expanded office, in conjunction with our Philadelphia headquarters and Doylestown office, will serve older victims of crime in the 5-county area. The location hosts SeniorLAW Center’s dedicated team of legal professionals who are committed to serving the needs of older victims of abuse and exploitation and those facing other legal crises.

The night was underscored with remarks from several speakers, including SeniorLAW Center’s Executive Director, Karen C. Buck, Esq., and Director of Victim Services, Brendan Corbalis, Esq., before the big blue ribbon was cut. We were especially honored to hear from Judge Lois Murphy, Chair of the PA Supreme Court’s Council on Elder Justice, who made congratulatory remarks about our leadership and impact throughout PA and pleasantly surprised to receive an unexpected citation from U.S. Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon.
