Jamie is a current third-year student at Villanova University School of Law. In 2014, she received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Political Science from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. At Rollins, she was editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, recipient of the Crane Political Science Department Scholarship, and James Ottoway Excellence in Journalism scholarship. Before heading to law school, Jamie worked as a legal assistant at Rubin & Rubin Attorneys and Counselors in Stuart, Florida where she assisted on civil rights, personal injury, and medical malpractices cases.
Upon receiving a full scholarship to attend Villanova Law, Jamie left Florida and decided to pursue a career in public service in the Philadelphia area. In the summer of 2016, she interned with the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Delivery of Legal Services Committee. Later that year, Jamie was a Semi-finalist in Villanova’s 57th Annual Theodore L. In 2017, she became an intern for The Villanova Law Institute to Address Commercial Sexual Exploitation and has gone on to become a research assistant for one of the Institute’s founders. Jamie is currently a summer legal intern at SeniorLAW Center and looks forward to working closely with the organization’s attorneys and staff to help Pennsylvania seniors.
