Thanks to a new law in Philadelphia, landlords will soon be required to pay the full cost of extermination if a tenant reports bedbugs within a year of moving in, or within 6 months of an infestation in an adjoining unit. This is good news for everyone, as it will reduce the spread of infestations. Seniors will especially benefit because they are particularly vulnerable to the bugs and can have increased difficulty detecting infestations. Read more here.
