On May 4th, over 350 of the best of the legal, business and nonprofit communities came together to celebrate the excellence of our courts, champions for justice, diversity and service, and our work at SeniorLAW Center at our 2016 Gala. May is national Older Americans Month and purple was our color theme for Elder Abuse Awareness. We honored 6 over 60 (six remarkable individuals and groups who had had profound impact on our community), inducted three champions into our Hall of Fame, and celebrated our Partner of the Year: the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Elder Law Task Force, accepted by Madame Justice Debra Todd, Judge Paula Ott and Zygmont Pines. We also celebrated the service of senior veterans from WWII, Korea and Vietnam who guide and serve as ambassadors for our legal services program for veterans.
