The CDC eviction moratorium has been extended until June 30, 2021

The CDC eviction moratorium has been extended through June 30, 2021.

This moratorium applies statewide. However, it only protects tenants who know to complete a Declaration Form, and provide it to their landlord. It only protects tenants who meet the requirements of the declaration form, which include income limits and Covid-related financial hardship. Read the declaration form for more details.

We are still waiting to see whether the Philadelphia courts will extend their broader moratorium on lockouts. That moratorium is scheduled to expire March 31, 2021. If it is not extended, we could see lockouts resume in Philadelphia at the beginning of April for tenants not protected by the CDC order.
