Rebecca L. Meschio joined SeniorLAW in May 2017, as a Staff Attorney providing legal services to seniors who have been the victim of intimate partner violence. Her advocacy efforts on behalf of senior victims will include trainings, community outreach and direct representation in protection from abuse cases, spousal support matters and other matters that foster the economic stability and safety of the senior.
Upon graduating from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2013, Rebecca served a Conwell Fellowship at Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA). While at PVLA she provided legal services to low-income artists and arts organizations. Prior to joining SeniorLAW, Rebecca worked as a Staff Attorney at the Philadelphia Landlord/Tenant Legal Help Center—a collaborative project and court based legal clinic fiscally sponsored by SeniorLAW Center. There, Rebecca provided legal counseling and referral services to low-income tenants facing landlord/tenant legal issues.
Rebecca graduated cum laude from University of Pittsburgh in 2010. While attending Pitt, Rebecca developed a passion for volunteering and working with underserved populations within her community and carries that dedication to SeniorLAW Center.
