On Wednesday, March 30, 2016, SeniorLAW Center Staff Attorney Cateria R. McCabe appeared on talk radio station WURD 900 AM. She was the featured guest on the show “Day Break” which is hosted by Thera Martin Milling. Cateria called into the station to discuss SeniorLAW Center’s Veterans Project. She explained how the dynamic project provides free legal services to veterans, their widows/widowers and senior family members who are victims of crime. Listeners learned about the civil legal areas of law covered through the project as well as the opportunity to receive services at the eight legal clinics located in various neighborhoods in the City. An Army veteran herself, Cateria shared about the types of legal issues that she has been able to resolve for veterans because of the project. She is proud to be able to continue her service and encouraged veterans to take advantage of this SeniorLAW Center project.
