OUR 2022 STORYTELLING
FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
This year, in place of our annual Gala, SeniorLAW Center celebrates the impact older people have had on our lives by inviting the entire SeniorLAW Center family to share their stories online.
This Storytelling Fundraising Campaign will be a steady drum beat important, impactful and heartwarming stories shared creatively through June 30, 2022.
Storytelling Fundraising Campaign Sponsors fund SeniorLAW Center’s critical work for vulnerable older Pennsylvanians. We are grateful for their generosity and genuine care.

WHO WE ARE
We seek justice for older people by using the power of the law, educating the community and advocating on local, state and national levels.
We serve elders from all racial, cultural and economic backgrounds and orientations, and prepare them for some of life’s toughest challenges. We focus on the those currently in the greatest social and economic need.
We are unique: SeniorLAW Center is the only nonprofit law organization in Pennsylvania devoted to protecting the legal rights of seniors.
Founded in 1978 as an independent nonprofit organization by leaders of the Philadelphia Bar Association, we have served over 400,000 seniors 60 and older throughout Pennsylvania.
In 2002, we launched the first statewide legal services for Pennsylvania seniors, the SeniorLAW HelpLine, now serving seniors in all 67 counties of the Commonwealth.
We serve seniors in our offices, in their homes, and in their communities, in the languages they speak, and with sensitivity, dignity and compassion.
We advocate locally, statewide and nationally for elder rights, for women, families, and children thousands of elders are raising, for older veterans, homeowners, tenants and victims of abuse and exploitation.
Our work has enormous economic impact: we prevent homelessness, financial exploitation, institutionalization, foster care, guardianship, and help seniors and families access income, restitution, and benefits.
For every $1 invested in legal aid, there is an $11 return to Pennsylvania and its residents.
We help fulfill our nation’s promise of justice for all, regardless of ability to pay - because justice should not depend on how much money you have.
We help seniors know their rights and prevent legal crises from occurring through expansive community education, enabling seniors to become self-advocates.
SeniorLAW Center is one of the few legal aid organizations in the country devoted to helping older Americans.
Our staff of nonprofit attorneys and advocates are experts in their field, and work with over 100 partners throughout the country to change the lives of seniors in need.
